Greenhouse Ministries

Posted by: Joe on: December 2, 2011

We decided to sponsor a local family for Christmas this year. The kids enjoyed shopping for Noah, age 5. We delivered the gifts and a box of pantry goods to the Greenhouse Ministries building where the family would be able to pick them up.

Borodash 2011

Posted by: Joe on: November 25, 2011

The 2nd annual Borodash on Thanksgiving Day 2011 was wonderful and cold. It was obvious that many more people signed up for this year’s race. Almost 1,000 more, in fact for a total of more than 2,500 registered runners.     A good friend, Brian Holaway, designed our shirts. He’s a very talented […]

As we continue our study of Tennessee history, we are enjoying a quick family trip to some of the easternmost and earliest settlements in Tennessee. Clark designed and assembled this craft yesterday. Perhaps in preparation for an attack. I was so impressed, I told him we should post some pictures. He insisted that I mention that the “Land Speeder” is from Star Wars. Aren’t kids just the best!

Weird Noodles!. . .Now Open!

Posted by: Joe on: September 9, 2011

Evidently, there is a new restaurant operating out of our home.  One evening, I was met along the sidewalk with instructions to enter through the front door instead of through the garage as usual.  I was greeted at the front door by the Maitre D’ (Clark) who politely asked how many was in our […]
